Charlotte, N.C. – January 24, 2011 – Verian Technologies, a leading provider of purchase-to-pay automation solutions, broke ground last week on a spacious 25,000 square-foot state-of-the-art facility in Lancaster County, South Carolina, just south of Charlotte’s city limits.

When completed, the building will serve as Verian’s new world headquarters, housing all engineering, product development, sales, marketing and service departments under one roof. The company is currently based in the University City area. The new building, scheduled for completion in May of 2011, is located in Rosemont, a brand-new Ryan Homes community in the Fort Mill/Indian Land area. The new facility will have additional space for lease and the overall development can accommodate another 200,000 square feet of commercial development. The Knox Group, Inc., a Charlotte-based real estate brokerage firm, is handling the marketing of the remaining space and land. The company will move into the new facility in June of 2011. “This is a very exciting time in our history,” said Tehseen Ali Dahya, president and CEO of Verian Technologies.
“This new facility will enable us to better serve our growing portfolio of customers. The building will feature several venues specifically designed to host user conferences, training sessions and other customer events.”
Roger Layman, chief architect on the project, put a priority on the employee workspace when designing the building. “They wanted a very calming space that encouraged collaboration and creativity. So we used large, floor-to-ceiling windows that open up the workspaces to more natural light and views of the surrounding natural landscape.”
