Verian Receives Prestigious Honor for the Eighth Time

Charlotte, N.C. (May 9, 2011) — Verian Technologies, a leading provider of purchasing and invoice automation solutions, has been named one of the top 100 technology providers by Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine for the eighth time.

Verian Technologies made the prestigious list for its groundbreaking purchase-to-pay project for a global shipping company. The size and scope of the project were unprecedented: over 60,000 users generating 2.5 million purchase orders a year from 40,000 different locations.

The Verian purchase-to-pay solution includes advanced procurement technology that supports the shipper’s conservation, sustainability and demand management initiatives. The advanced requisition technology helped reduce the shipper’s off-catalog spend by twenty two percent, amounting to savings of $61.5 million in just nine months.
