— September 20, 2007 — Ransome CAT, a full-line
Caterpillar Dealer with 13 locations and 600 employees,
has signed to implement Verian Technologies' ProcureIt.
Ransome will begin its implementation of ProcureIt —
a 100% web-based purchase-to-pay solution — next month.
Ransome CAT
is replacing a manual, paper-based system used for all purchasing
and invoice management. By implementing ProcureIt,
Ransome CAT will automate 100% of its requisitioning, purchasing,
and invoice management — eliminating paper and increasing
process efficiency in those areas. The full implementation
of ProcureIt at Ransome CAT will include Purchase Manager,
Invoice Manager and Inventory Manager
modules as well as Verian's standard interfaces to the DBS
Work Order system and CODA financial software.
