NC — June 17, 2008 — Clark Construction Group,
LLC. and its wholly owned subsidiary Atkinson Construction
have licensed Verian Technologies’ Purchase-to-Pay
software. Founded in 1906, Clark Construction Group is one
of the nation's most experienced and respected providers
of construction services, with over $3 billion of annual
revenue and major projects throughout the United States.
Clark and Atkinson had little visibility into the details
of the goods and services they were buying, especially across
the two companies. They needed a system that would help
them enforce a purchasing policy and capture the two companies’
combined spending. Their objective is to look for opportunities
to reduce costs by negotiating greater volume discounts
and enforcing purchasing from vendors with whom they have
contracts.

With the solution, Clark and Atkinson will have visibility
across the two companies’ spending — what they
are buying and how much they are spending with each supplier.

automated reporting, approval workflow and audit trails.
