Kofax's Certified Solutions Provider program, which authorizes
Verian to sell, implement and support Kofax solutions. Kofax
is the leading provider of intelligent capture and exchange
solutions.
The Verian and Kofax solutions form an integrated imaging
and workflow solution for invoice processing. Analyst firm
AberdeenGroup reported in their 2008 E-Payables Benchmark
Series: Imaging and Workflow research study that "Best-in-Class
enterprises are 85% more likely to standardize imaging and
workflow operations than all other enterprises." Aberdeen
also stated that invoice receipt and workflow "represent
the gateway to effective A/P performance and are the lynchpins
to streamlining the entire invoice cycle."
Verian has developed a link between its Purchase-to-Pay and Invoice Automation solutions and Kofax software. This
link enables Verian customers to scan paper invoices and
use Kofax software to intelligently extract the relevant
text. Kofax software then passes the extracted data to an
electronic invoice record in the Verian solution, which
automatically routes the electronic invoice for approval
and validates it for payment.
